A glittering, rambunctious dino-romp. Blending cabaret, sci‑fi, storytelling and unapologetic camp humour, it’s wild, witty and bittersweet – where love, survival bunkers and finding your true ‘Triceratop’ collide. A hilariously tender gay dinosaur parable – it’s ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ meets ‘Don’t Look Up’. Can our prehistoric protagonist find love in time?
TRICERATOP whisks you into the Jurassic jungle of gay romance, where it’s all too easy to feel like an ageing dinosaur…literally. Sheltering from catastrophe, one lonely dino passes the time in a makeshift (but fabulous!) bunker. As Cretaceous civilisation crumbles and a glittering ass-teroid hurtles toward Earth, time is running out to find his perfect match.

LINGUA FRANCA is an inter-regional, interdisciplinary performance collective based in regional NSW. A group of regional artists interested in the intersection of text, physical theatre/dance and other contemporary art forms, the collective’s artists are spread throughout regional NSW: across the Central West, Newcastle/Hunter Region and Queanbeyan/Canberra regions. With a focus on new Australian work, Lingua Franca develops, makes and presents contemporary performance with a commitment to elevating regional artistic voices, making visible regional artistic excellence.
