From the makers of POV, re:group performance collective return with a rock opera and raucous work of gig-theatre. If you like your theatre loud this is for you. Told through 17 original songs and dark humour, AUTO-TUNE is a regret filled love letter to millennial culture – Nokias, Silverchair obsession, teen drinking and questionable decision-making.
Audiences are transported to the early 2000s where they meet Michael, a teenager with a time-travelling superpower – one where he can auto-tune away dumb statements, awkward pauses, and cringe jokes. But when Michael makes the biggest mistake of his life, will his auto-tune powers be enough to save him?
