TWISTED : Night Flowers Party

TWISTED is a one-night only celebration of creativity and self-expression and your invitation to dress up and go to town.

Inspired by and in honour of Damien Frost’s Night Flowers showing at Watt Space Gallery, Bartholomew’s will be transformed into a glamorous yet twisted landscape – with Frost’s images lighting up the night, atmospheric theming, and a dancefloor pulsing with sound, performance, and celebration.

The evening will be a defiant yet joyful exploration of identity, and you’re invited to celebrate who you are – or who you might become for the night. As TWISTED honours the power of dressing up, showing up, and celebrating together as one.

Fox Pflueger and Sticky Waffles, your WE!RD and wonderful friends, host this one-time-only immersive night of art, music, and performance – and dancing, oh so much dancing! Sydney-based DJ, Annabelle Gaspar, and Club 77 favourite, DJ Harry Court, will set the rhythm on the dancefloor. One of the founding members of Bad Dog, Annabelle is one of Australia's most loved and respected DJs. Harry Court is a rising star with a reputation for chuggy grooves, Balearic moods, and nostalgic oddities.

Shapeshifting performance artist Justin Talplacido Shoulder, AKA Phasmahammer, will transfix you. Their practice is an eco-cosmology of alter personas based on queered ancestral myth. 

The night is full of surprises and acts with a stellar line up of local artists creating immersive experiences and mischief. Artists include: Cleo Rapture, Abork, Benjamin Fraser McKenzie, Vandoll, Evie Bopper, Orlando Gloom, Rachel Maria Cox, Miss Stress, Oda Mae, Leeha Tart, Ménage Atart, Genevieve Unicorn and Louisa Magrics. 

Costume is encouraged. Alter egos are welcome. Bartholemew’s will be a space to experiment and rejoice. Come early for the photo booths at 7pm, relish the night, and finish by midnight – very Cinderella!

Event Notes: Drinks and food will be available for purchase at the bar and are not included in the ticket price.
