World music favourites MZAZA bring you The Birth and Death of Stars, a surreal voyage exploring what links us to one another and the world around us.

Blurring the boundaries between music and theatre, this production is a testament to the boundless creativity forged by director Benjamin Knapton, Finnish animator Laura Matikainen, the ingenious writer Pauline Maudy and the visionary designer Alison Ross, who skillfully merge the show’s award-winning soundtrack into a thrilling display of lights, projections and captivating performance.
Guided by enchanting French vocalist Pauline, a remarkable ensemble of musicians and songwriters hailing from diverse corners of the globe will ensnare your senses with their spellbinding performances. Brace yourself for an exquisite fusion of vocal harmonies, accordion, violin, shah kaman, percussion, double bass and guitar.

WANT TO LEARN FROM MZAZA?
MZAZA invite you to attend one of their free world-music workshops during New Annual. There will be two concurrent workshops - one for songs, one for instrumental - on Saturday 28 Sept from 1-2pm. Participants will then be invited to perform on stage with the band at their live show! Register your interest.
