Over two nights, the festival will bring together filmmakers, industry professionals, and film enthusiasts to celebrate the art of short filmmaking. The screenings will feature a diverse mix of films from the Open Category (International), showcasing works under 20 minutes from around the world, with a top prize of $5000. Alongside these, the next generation of filmmakers—high school students from Newcastle and the Central Coast—will present their short films of under 5 minutes, competing for $2000 for themselves and their schools.
