ABOUT THE ARTIST
Formed in 2020, dust is made up of vocalists and guitarists Gabriel Stove and Justin Teale, bassist Liam Smith, guitarist and saxophonist Adam Ridgway, and drummer Kye Cherry. Offering a contemporary take on Australian post-punk, along with elements of experimental jazz and electronic music, they have curated a sound that is as dark, introspective and angular as it is powerful and progressive. Since the release of their EP, the band has expanded their fanbase beyond their Australian roots with headline shows across the UK and Europe, playing well known festivals like London's Pitchfork Festival and London Calling in Amsterdam in 2023. This is while also touring relentlessly in Australia, supporting acts such as DZ Deathrays, Press Club & Trophy Eyes and international acts like Slowdive, Interpol & Bloc Party.
