Ever wondered what it's like to make a movie live on stage? Join re:group collective for a hands-on Live Cinema Workshop
An introductory masterclass in the techniques of live cinema.
In this workshop, participants will collaborate with re:group to recreate a short sequence of live cinema on stage: a trailer, a scene, a montage from your favourite film or TV show. The workshop will allow you to create, wear and trade the varying hats of actor, camera operator, editor and director, and learn how re:group use collaborative film techniques to create live cinema performance. The workshop is open to artists and performers from all backgrounds. No experience necessary, just a love of theatre, film or both.
DURATION
The 2-hour workshop will be led by 2 members of the collective in an intimate class for 10 people.
