Transforming a shipping container into a Victorian séance room, SÉANCE makes audiences question not just their beliefs, but also their own senses. Over 20 minutes in complete darkness, SÉANCE explores the psychology of a group who have been bombarded with suggestible material and asks them to believe in what might be conjured into the room.
Using binaural 360-degree sound and no visuals, the experience unfolds entirely in your mind, playing with perception, memory and belief.

DARKFIELD is a collection of multi-sensory audio experiences in complete darkness. The experiences FLIGHT and SÉANCE, created by UK-based creative directors and DARKFIELD founders Glen Neath and David Rosenberg, take place inside purpose-built shipping containers and use binaural audio, sensory deprivation and special effects to place the audience at the centre of a narrative completely at odds with the space it occupies. Since launching in 2016, DARKFIELD has toured internationally across the UK, Europe, the US, Australia, and Asia, welcoming over 500,000 attendees into the dark.
Realscape Productions are international theatre producers specialising in tech-infused, multi-sensory experiences that make your brain go “OoOoh!” Their work spans the immersive shipping container productions DARKFIELD, the acclaimed sci-fi dance phenomenon Future Cargo by Requardt & Rosenberg, the Australian productions of the hit West End play Ghost Stories, and the award-winning one-on-one encounter Mummy’s Milk. Realscape delivers boundary-pushing storytelling that captivates the senses, making every experience striking, unexpected, and unforgettable.
Working closely together since 2017, Realscape are DARKFIELD’s longest-running collaborators - producing seasons in the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand - and bringing these disorienting worlds to new audiences in complete darkness.
