Projections on beer tanks
Raina Thomson @ultraloca_ is an up and coming visual artist based in Newcastle and one of the newest studio members @onwards.gallery.studios in Hamilton. In this collaboration with Raina, she will be creating a digital work to display at our brewery capturing all things Foghorn; the beer, the food and the atmosphere. This project will be our tribute to the revival and integration of the Newcastle hospitality scene and the Newcastle Art scene. Running from 5pm every night throughout the festival.

Bloom exhibition - Bloom @ The Station Saturday 24 Sept 5:00pm | Gallery Qube
"Bloom" is all about growth and renewal. Early Spring is the perfect time to celebrate the rebirth of nature that we are experiencing all around us. The exhibition also resonates with the Van Gogh exhibition at Foreshore Park incorporating the iconic Van Gogh emblems of sunflowers and Irises. Featured are paintings, handmade prints, textiles and limited edition art photography prints. The exhibition is hosted at Gallery Qube on The Station and spreads into the gallery spaces next door at MakeSpace. The opening is at 5pm on Saturday 24th September. The event is also part of the "Bloom at the Station" special event that features live music, food and drinks, "build a bunch" flower making, a macrame workshop and more.

Marmalade Sky Music has secured a stellar lineup for the event, featuring our talented students for open mic and headlining the event is local superstars 'Slapjack'. The lineup will also include Mishayla Turner with acoustic covers and originals, as well as pop magic from the Nat & Chris duo.
